Cost
Total Targeted Compensation usually depends on project type. Typically the TTC will be weighted more heavily toward commissions if the project were marketing or sales. For example, a TTC of $65,000 with a 40/60 salary/commission mix, would mean a salary of $26,000 per annum, with projected commissions of $39,000. In general, base salaries for representatives can be anything from $25,000 to $45,000. For highly technical fields, salaries can be much higher. Determining the correct TTC and salary/commission mix is vitally important to enable us attract the best talent available.
However, the fixed fee to be paid per representative per month will be higher than a salary, because it will also cover benefits and government fees, including healthcare cover, pension, paid time off, FICA, state and federal taxes, and workers compensation.
Management Fee
The program management fee covers all the support and the underlying engine that makes everything run. If you think of an outsourcing company as providing you with instant outsourced representation, the management fee funds all the background operations that have to happen to keep the team running smoothly. The management fee generally covers varied functions including:
- Product and Service training
- All recruiting, including initial and continuous candidate flow for effective staffing with qualified professionals
- Background checks and comprehensive screening
- Account management, including client reporting
- Incidental travel and entertainment
- Technology and licensing, including internet connectivity for sales offices, laptops for all managers, hosting and backup services
- Office rent (where applicable)
- Office equipment and supplies
- IT support
The program management fee is usually quoted and paid on a monthly basis, and usually starts around $4000 or $5000 for a small campaign of 1-5 team member (dependent on qualification and years of experience of staff involved)
